Uncle Corey and AJ
The Last year of our lives has felt like it was full of Drama, Family Pain, some not so nice surprises and Health issues. So I have been putting off writing because I felt like I have not had anything Happy, exciting or interesting to blog about.
So this weekend had its ups and downs, The downs involve Chloe in the Hospital very sick with some viral infection that is going around that involves full body rash, high fever and yaking. Not fun! It took a few days but it has passed and she is catching up on her sleep today.
The ups involve a much needed family visit, Scott's Mom and John, Brother Corey, Ashley, Bethy, and AJ traveled to Kelowna to be with us to celebrate Scott's brother Travis' Graduation! Four years I have been a part of this family and in that four years Travis has gone from being much shorter then me to sky rocketing up and towering over me. Not fair I tell you! He treats me as a Sister, in fact calls me his Sister and for that I now know how it feels to have a brother I care for him as if he was my own blood brother. He mushed me out not so long ago by asking me to take him and pick out his tux for his Grad. What an honer that was, I am so proud of him for achieving something that some didn't think he was going too.
Travis is an amazingly sweet 18 year that is always pumped to spend time with is family, He loves to bug ya, but is never shy to hug ya!
I am so proud for him and was so Happy that I could see him walk across that stage on Friday night!
To continue the celebrations we headed out to Chute Lake to camp for a night, because of the long hospital visit in the middle of the night we did not get out with the rest of the family until dinner time on Saturday, but we still made it and got some good family time. Lots of silly fun by the fire, mosquito's, Yahtzee, and crazy photo's. something we will have to definitely repeat in the future! It was so nice to see all three cousins together, and all four boys breathing the same air.
Thank you Family for such a great weekend and Hope to see you again very soon!

It was a great visit, too short but great. We're so proud of Travis, he's grown into a really great guy (not a kid any more!).
PS, can you please e-mail those first two photos, I'd like to add them to our collection!
Hey Chelsea, it is so good to see you writing again, and what a great read it is. Thank you so much for the wonderful weekend, we really had a great time. Can't wait to go camping with you guys again soon. Love you all so much, and miss you already.
Love John/grampa & Mom/grama
